ABOUT US
Humanitarian Aid is a registered non-government organization whose mission is to provide an immediate humanitarian response and solution to communities that have been displaced by natural and manmade catastrophes.
It further aims at restoration of the livelihoods and living conditions of displaced communities, creating a community that will become self reliant in the long run, with limited support by government and donor agencies; and to restore hope to such populations.
Specifically, the Organisation focuses its attention in the fields of health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, community services, logistics, protection and environment. Humanitarian Aid’s administrative echelon consists of a blend of experienced individuals across the professional spectrum. Some have served in reputable local and international humanitarian agencies. Notable among these are the founding Directors, Dr. Charles Ayume and Mr. Benjamin Byarugaba.
